MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE THERAPY

CDT OVERVIEW

CDT quickly reduces swelling and stabilizes tissues

CDT integrates lymphatic therapy with compression bandaging and garments to affect edema reductions. It's a comprehensive process, usually involving 2 to 4 weeks of concentrated therapy, depending on the disease staging or trauma. Lymphedema and lipedema patients are fitted with a compression garment after reduction to maintain tissue health and improve treatment durability.

CDT is successful in treating and managing:

  • Chronic swelling conditions, including lymphedema and lipedema
  • CVI and venous ulcers
  • Severe to moderate edema
  • Large-scale injury or trauma
  • Recovery following major surgeries
  • Large areas of scar tissue
  • Post-surgical and oncology edema and pain
